like when you go to their tech news section it has all the different studies and stuff. i was just wondering where they got all that info from? or places you can see all the announcements for products and stuff?

From journals and trade papers that cover tech news thoroughly. Some of CNN’s tech reporters actually do their own original research; others rewrite the tech news section of The New York Times and the trade papers, of which there are many.
